1. Main Function

For large packaged goods, the quality is generally high, and the height of vertical drop during transportation and handling is low. Therefore, the test drop height required for the drop test rig is also low. The zero drop test machine is mainly used for the drop test of larger packages. The zero drop tester consists of an "E" fork that can be moved down quickly as a test piece carrier. The test goods are placed in balance according to the test requirements (face, edge, angle test). During the test, the pallet moved downward at high speed and disengaged from the test piece. The “E”fork was embedded in the bottom plate under the action of the high-efficiency damper before the product was dropped to the bottom plate. In theory, zero drop test machine can be used for the drop test from the zero height to the maximum drop height range.

 The machine uses two-column guidance and hydraulic cushioning. The drop height can be set by the fixed ring, and the edge, face and angle drop test can be realized. It is mainly used to assess the ability of product packages to withstand falling during transportation and handling, thus improving packaging design.

The zero-drop test bench adopts a plate type double-rail guide and electric lifting system, which is suitable for drop test of packaging test pieces with large outer dimensions. The loading and unloading test piece is convenient and fast, and can achieve the lower height drop test of the rib, face and angle. The drop height can start from zero.
