1. Main Function

This machine is used for a variety of automotive interior materials, such as plastics, rubber, leather, fabric, coating materials, coating materials and other non-composite materials such as scratch resistance detection.

2. Principle

Simulate the nails or other hard objects that may be in contact with the material. Use the scraping fingers of different materials to apply a certain pressure to the surface of the specimen according to the specified direction, stroke and speed. The scraping fingers and the specimens are moved relative to each other. Produces a one-way, non-reciprocating line of scratch marks that remain equal between scratches. The scratch level of the material is evaluated, the color difference between the scratched area and the unscratched area, or the minimum scratching force when the sample surface is damaged.

3. Instrument Composition

Scratch-resistant tester: It consists of motor drive mechanism, scraping assembly, sample clamping fixture and so on. The scraping assembly includes a scraping bracket, a scraping finger, a scraping designated position sleeve, a pressing device (weight and weight support rod), and the like. The instrument can be installed with different specifications of the scraping finger, which can implement uniform one-way linear scraping motion.
